How do I go about exposing and reporting a veterinary clinic for malpractice and negligence?
Ok here is the deal.. The vet in my town, the only one within 100miles is unethical, negligent and frankly needs to be disciplined for their actions. it is not just me who has had problems, I just spoke to a vet out of town and their client base has increased dramatically in the past few years with people who refuse to see the vet in town and are willing to drive over an hour just to avoid seeing them. The horror stories are increasing every day and I want to put an end to this madness. I don’t think it is right, I don’t feel that this vet has the best interest of the animals at heart and I believe they are concerned with profit only. I need advice on who to contact, I want to notify ALL the relevant agencies, I have already found the College of veterinarians of Ontario and have printed the complaint sheet. But I want them all, I want to complain to every possible agency in Ontario Canada.. any links or advice would be helpful, thanks.
The OVMA (Ontario Veterinary Medical Association) and the CVO (College of Veterinarians of Ontario) would be who you would contact and they will take the appropriate steps and investigate the situation for you.
